Near black is torn open by intensely luminescent electric turquoise upon ash white recursive barbs terminating in wicked hooks. Every barb is serrated by smaller barbs and those by smaller again, so the edge sharpens as it divides and never resolves. Dusty rose and rust bleed through the darker passages, and amber cores burn at the centre of dark spiral sockets. Nothing here is wet or lacquered. The surface is nacreous throughout, with the turquoise burning along every edge, so the whole is frost and shell and cold fire, armed down to the smallest barb.

The upper is vegan PU leather, laced to just above the ankle, and the print runs over the shaft, the tongue and the vamp. The collar, the laces and the heel pull loop are black. A brown lug sole runs under a black midsole. Spot clean only: do not put them in a washer or dryer.
