Magenta, rose and cream swell across a purple-black ground in clusters of bulbs, each glossed like something wet and recently grown. Beads gather along every seam and margin, packed tight and graded from pinhead to plum, and the largest sit alone in dark hollows. The forms knot into one another and leave no ground uncovered anywhere. It is a fruiting body caught at the moment of ripeness.

The waistband is high and folds over, gathered at one side and drawn with a tie. The cloth is 180gsm with a little stretch, and the leg opens wide from the hip, so the pattern becomes a moving field. The inseam runs about 76cm and barely changes across the size range, so shorter wearers should expect to hem.
