Checkerboard bands cover this top, each one warped into a tight spiral that pulls toward a dark throat at its centre. Colour runs in spectral order along every band, cyan sliding into blue and violet, gold into green and magenta, so each spiral reads as a small vortex of light rather than a flat check pattern. The throats repeat across the surface rather than resolving to one single centre, giving the whole print a tiled, kaleidoscope structure.
The two faces carry the same print differently. The back runs unbroken from shoulder to hem, the full tiling of spirals visible across one continuous field. The front carries the identical pattern, but a diagonal seam and a black buckle tab cross low on one side, gathering the hem up into a short slit, while the other side drapes long and uninterrupted. The cowl neckline itself is solid black rather than printed, on both the front drape and the back collar.
Cut from a 95% polyester, 5% spandex knit at 180 grams per square meter, a medium weight stretch fabric, in a regular fit. The long sleeves are ruched along their length, gathering the print into soft folds rather than showing it flat. Machine wash cold with similar colors, skip the bleach, tumble dry low, and skip the iron and the dry cleaner.
